The CatGenie Whoosh is an automatic, self-washing cat litter box that scoops your cat’s waste, liquefies it and sends it out through your toilet or laundry drain.
Instead of storing dirty clumps in a waste drawer, the Whoosh removes them from your home. Its specialised plant-based clumping litter absorbs liquid waste, forms firm clumps and allows the GenieHand to scoop both urine and solid waste automatically.
After waste is collected, it is processed inside the unit and flushed away. In approximately 10 minutes, the litter box is ready for your cat to use again.
More than an automatic litter tray
Most automatic litter boxes store dirty litter into a sealed compartment. This reduces scooping, but the waste remains inside your home until the drawer is emptied.
CatGenie Whoosh goes further. It is connected to cold water and household drainage, allowing collected waste to be processed and flushed away after each cleaning cycle.
There are no bags of cat waste sitting in a drawer, no daily clump removal and no need to carry used litter to the outside bin. You simply maintain the litter level, replace the required SaniSolution cartridge when needed and perform routine machine maintenance.
How the CatGenie Whoosh works

Your cat uses it like a normal litter box
The bowl contains plant-based CatGenie Whoosh clumping litter. Liquid and solid waste form scoopable clumps within the litter.
The GenieHand scoops the waste
After your cat leaves, the GenieHand moves through the bowl and collects the waste clumps while leaving clean, unused litter behind.
Waste is liquefied
The collected clumps are transferred into the hopper, where the Whoosh breaks the water-soluble waste and litter down into a flushable liquid.
Everything is flushed away
The processed waste travels through the drain hose into your toilet or laundry drainage, rather than being stored in the machine.
Ready for the next visit
Because the remaining litter is not washed, a drying cycle is not required. The complete scoop-and-flush process takes approximately 10 minutes.

Natural clumping litter designed to disappear with the waste
CatGenie Whoosh uses a specialised water-soluble, plant-based litter rather than the hard, reusable Washable Granules found in the CatGenie A.I.
The soft litter absorbs liquid and forms strong clumps around both urine and solid waste. This allows the GenieHand to remove the entire waste area while leaving unused litter in the bowl.
Once collected, the clumps can be safely broken down inside the machine before being sent through the drainage hose. Top up the bowl as the litter level gradually reduces.
